My favorite thing about the Celebrate Rhode Island Ball is that it provides guests with an opportunity to warm themselves twice on a cold winter night: once on the dance floor, and once when they think about the fact that they are helping to heat the homes of Rhode Islanders in need. With record high energy costs continuing to burden many of our neighbors, we all want to help those who struggle to pay their heating bills.

Governor Carcieri and I look forward to a fun evening of dancing, socializing with guests, enjoying a wonderful dinner, and celebrating the spirit that makes Rhode Island great.
